Do you have a favorite quote?
“If life were predictable, it would cease to be life and be without flavor” – Eleanor Roosevelt
What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
Love your job and those you work with – Life is too short to be doing something you don’t like, especially when you spend more time with your co-workers than you do your own family.
Who is someone you admire and why?
My mother – She overcame abject poverty and discrimination by leaving home with hardly any money to build a new life for herself. She started by being the first of her siblings to graduate high school (she is the 11th of 12 children). She is, by far, the strongest person I know.
What are you happiest doing when not working?
Reading, cooking, baking/decorating cookies with royal icing; I’ll be painting more once we have my studio in the basement completed.
Name three words that best describe you.
Thoughtful, dependable, tenacious
